POTUS Trump Is To Fulfill The Ultimate End Of Yanghwajin Foreign Missionary Cemetery!!!

Early American Missionaries(1884-1910) in the Korean Peninsula contributed greatly to the modernization of Joseon (dynasty in Korea which lasted from 1392 to 1910), while Japanese imperialism(on January 3, 1868-on May 3, 1947) followed the pattern of Western imperialism and compulsorily annexed Joseon in 1910 by the help of the United States and the United Kingdom and exploited all of Joseon for the Pacific War(1941-1945), glamorized its daylight robbery, naming the modernization of Joseon.

 

America and England were quite ignorant of the history of the Korean Peninsula. They didn’t recognize that just as U.S. was founded by the descendants of United Kingdom, so Japan was established by Koreans.

 

In fact, emperors of Japan came from the offsprings of Gaya, Koguryo, Silla, first of all, Baegje of the Korean Peninsula.

 

Kojiki(古事記, 712) & Nihonsyoki(日本書紀, 720) are about the history of ancient Korean Peninsula, namely, Gaya, Koguryo, Silla, & particularly Baegje, not the history of ancient Japan. There’s been little a true history of the ancient Japanese. They are fake history.

 

So the accomplishments of American Missionaries accused the rule of Japanese imperialism in the Korean Peninsula as a heinous crime.

 

They were white youths of American middle and upper-class and almost came from the Northeastern United States(the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, State of New Hampshire, the State of Rhode Island, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Maine, the State of Vermont, the State of Connecticut, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania).

 

They built a miniature American middle and upper-class community in Joseon. They strenuously endeavored to transmit American middle and upper-class culture to Joseon. Joseon confronted a collapsing Sinocentric world order and accepted American Missionaries’culture.

 

They built churches, universities, schools, hospitals, welfare facility, etc. and their friends, whereas American entrepreneurs constructed railways, streetcars, electric installation, water supply plant and so on.

 

They made an extraordinary contribution to the modernization of Joseon. They were sympathizers with the people of Joseon in anti-Japanese movements.

 

First of all, Homer B. Hulbert(1863-1949) and Horace N. Allen(1858-1932) resisted America’s official mission policy that was the separation of religion from politics and broke with that policy. They made every effort to disclose the greed and the injustices of the colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula by Japan imperialism, either through diplomatic missions or writing books and articles in support of a free Joseon.

 

Most of the American Missionaries were laid to rest in peace in Seoul Foreigners’Cemetery at Yanghwajin(the Hapjeong-dong International Cemetery).

On Hulbert’s gravestone are written the words,“I would rather be buried in Korea than in Westminster Abbey.”
